How to melt your stress away with a short stay at Bodhi Khaya

This past week we had the pleasure of experiencing the superb tranquility and various therapies that are available to help with your relaxing days at Bodhi Khaya and we have no hesitation recommending you visit with them.

Nestling in the Witkransberg (which would roughly translate into White Cranes Mountain) Bodhi Khaya is only two hours drive from the city of Cape Town and just ten minutes drive outside of Stanford.

The stunning Milkwood forests and pristine fynbos provide hours of hiking trails, or if you prefer, your opportunity to relax and quite simply be at one with Mother nature. The meditation center has a huge stoep (porch) and we made ample use of the inviting couches calling out to us one afternoon after lunch. What a way to spend a couple of hours; reading, napping and marveling at the beautiful and serene surrounds.

The delicious drinking water comes direct from the mountain springs and is perfectly safe to drink. There is a well stocked library as well as the aforementioned therapies including massage, organic facials, yoga and reflexology to help you relax.

The accommodation is provided in restored Victorian farm buildings. The old farm house with its wonderful fireplaces and original wooden flooring is available for family or groups of friends to relax and bond. A truly wonderful experience awaits.

You can contact Bodhi Khaya at info@bkr.co.za or their Facebook page Bodhi Khaya Facebook and www.bodhi-khaya.co.za. Their telephone number is 028 388 0156. And they do provide free wifi in certain locations in case you start to feel disconnected from all your facebook friends. We found the cellphone signals strong and hence never suffered any withdrawal symptoms of any kind.

There are mobile phone and internet connections should you feel the need to connect with the outside World.

Please remember DO NOT FEED THE BABOONS……….
