Do you want a relaxed, almost “Magic Faraway Tree” setting to enjoy a picnic with the whole family. Whether they are omni, vegetarian or vegan, Warwick Gourmet Picnics cater for everyone (Just make sure that you book in advance and inform them of any dietary requirements).
Warwick Wine Farm has sprawling lawns where kids can play freely but if you’d prefer something more secluded then ask for a pod. Each one is named after one of their wines. Each one has its own unique view and the “First Lady” had a tree filled with weavers nests right next to it.
One picnic box is more than enough for two people, no matter how big your appetite is. Freshly baked bread, homemade hummus, vegan cheese, the most divine spring onion and vegan mayo potato salad, an Asian inspired crunchy salad, a mouth-watering butter bean and citrus salad and grilled tofu with brussel sprouts. This certainly isn’t a run-of-the-mill quickly slapped together vegan offering.
Not to mention the vegan butter, giant olives, divine sweet pickled onion dip and even some “Faken”(fake bacon). Should you still be in the mood for a morsel more than the dessert is a refreshing frozen Gluhwein style treat. Unique and just the perfect ending to such a delicious set-up.
Of course the wine is also fabulous but hopefully you already know that. Warwick’s wine tasting is highly recommended.
